Consulting Engagements and Fees
All consulting engagements and fee arrangements are discussed confidentially with each client. The fees are determined based on the type of engagement, project details and the statement of work agreed to by the client and Karl Anderson Consulting, Inc.
Also, the client agrees to reimburse the firm for travel, lodging, meals, third-party research reports, conference fees and other expenses incurred on their behalf in the course of the engagement.
Project based engagements
Clients with specific project needs can engage services for all or part of the project. Project based engagements are appropriate when designing new products, a market review, needing competitor analysis or a strategic planning study. Depending on the length and scope of the project, clients may want to consider a monthly retainer.
monthly retainer
Clients purchase a minimum number of hours per month and assign projects/work as needed. The minimum number of hours for a monthly retainer engagement is 10 hours and can be cost effective.
Hourly/Daily engagements
Clients with a short-term need for additional staff resources can engage services on an hourly or daily basis. This type of engagement is useful to review and edit a report or research a specific topic. An hourly engagement has a minimum of 4 hours and a daily engagement has a minimum of one day.
