Montreal startup raises $4.5 million to help sell life insurance to millennials

Breathe Life is making a software platform for insurance companies to help them sell online The company’s platform is a white-label product — consumers won’t see the Breathe Life name, instead they’ll deal directly with insurance companies who are using the platform. The investment will be used to hire and continue the company’s expansion into the United States.

The idea for the company was originally developed by Diagram, a venture creation firm backed by Power Corp.’s venture capital arm Portag3. It develops business ideas and then brings in experienced executives to turn those ideas into companies.
